Silver Member Username: TimscarletUsa Post Number: 299 Registered: Feb-05 | Hello, it is best to use a bit torrent file download software, and bit torrent sites with links. i use bitlord. at bitlord.com install it, keep in background. go start searching at bit torrent sites, like isohunt.com mininova.org these i use the most. click on the link for the torrent file, and your bitlord will pop up, letting you choose "open" and it will load it on the bitlord software and let it download shared files. this is file sharing. |

I would rather pay than get a Movie after 17 hours in .avi format, then change it to DVD format to burn. Nalin torrent is not like lime wire and all that other B/S peer to peers out there. torrent is the safest if you use a java based client then yes you could get hacked. this is why a person uses there common sense if they have any to go to the forums you join and not open public forums like thepirate bay. i've been using torrents since the beginning and never have been hacked. i've caught viruses but that was my own stupidity for going to open public trackers |

Most people leave their computer on all the time, and why not let it download while you sleep. Do not sit in front of the computer waiting for it to download, that is not how it works! |

Silver Member Username: Thechiz2The south, Ur anis Mine Post Number: 509 Registered: Apr-05 | Nalin in my opinion torrents are the safest places to go they encrypt so the ISP cant be nosie and as far as download time...i've down loaded a 700 to 800 meg file in an hour with no problem. it depends how many seeders are acually sharing the fle. just look for files with the most seeders and you should get the file in an hour with a 3 meg pipe line. this is the client i use. it alows you to control your upload and download speds http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ the other good one is utorrent it is similar to azureus.. Nalin if you would like an invite from demonoid just pm me but remember share, share, share... that is the key to torrents. |

I even researched and found out the meaning of seed and leech, etc. My only problem now is that even if i downloaded 10 movies during the sleeping hours , I don't have the time to watch them. As a retiree doing a lot of software development, I have less time than I had working as a regular employee!! Thanks for your concerns and nice of you to take notice. I will give azureus a try though very soon. |

Silver Member Username: Thechiz2The south, Ur anis Mine Post Number: 511 Registered: Apr-05 | Nalin N/p dont forget if you do torrent it you will have to down load the TCP fix... you may or may not know this but after srvice pack 2 for wndows XP and up they fixed it so that you can only get 50 connections... torrent does not like that so there is a TCP fix to enable up to 1000 connections which mean you get the file faster... and yeagh im semi retired so i dont have no time either like you with my music study and computer thing on the side... i hate computers...hehehe i got so may movies my great grandchildren are set...LOL http://w*w.google.com/search?hl=en&q=tcp+fix+for+torrents |

Its a little tricky cause everything is written in Chinese but they have the movie box cover you can click on. They have web logos that disappear after 2 minutes then my only complaint is Chinese subtitles. They buffer about one minute then play uninterrupted all the way through. Free no signup. |
