All fixes are always for BOTH DN and Bev. They are usually released to fix a previous provider (DN or Bev) ECM, but will get both providers always, unless a new ECM goes into affect.
File 2.01 was released on August 15, after a Dishnet (DN) ECM on August 13. It gets Both providers now.

1. Plug in USB w/unzipped files into CW800 (USB READY WILL APPEAR) 2. Press the USB button on the remote 3. Scroll over and select the SOFTWARE TAB 4. Find new file and press OK 5. When finish press YES to reboot 6. After reboot factory default (MENU>INSTALLATION>FACTORY DEFAULT) 7. Set antenna settings and scan satellites 8. Enable the Patch (F1 then 000) 9. Wait for box to autoroll 10. WATCH TV
Code input 1. Turn on the device which you planning to program 2. Find the code from the code list to match the brand of your device. 3. Press "SET" button until 3 seconds later, then LED will be light on. 4. Press the device function button( ex. TV), then the LED will light once. 5. Input the 3 digi code which matches the device in the list, the LED will blink once for each code. If the code is valid for this device, the LED will be off, means the code is fit for this device. If the code is not valid, therj the LED will be off after blink some times, means the code is not correct for this device, need to input new code.. 6. Now to test whether the RCU can control the device, if can't, return back to the code setup procedure, and input other code that supposed to match this brand device, if all the code under this brand can't control this device, you need to try the following way by code searching, you may be able to find the code. 7. Write down the correct code for next time use.
Manual codesearch Code searching means starting from the current device by pulsing 1 to continue search, one time "POWER" one time plus 1 to the code. 1. Press "SET" and hold it for 3 seconds, then LED will be light. 2. Press the function button (ex.TV) , LED will blink once 3. Aim the RCU to the device (ex. TV) and press "POWER" button, one time "POWER" you will get LED blink once.. 4. When it switch off the device, means the code you input is correct, then press"EXIT" and save the code, LED will be off.
If you have problems with tv and dvd hold SET down for 3 seconds while holding SET push TV or DVD while SET is being pushed. Led light on TV or DVD should stay on, then put code in.
Code auto setup 1. Press"SET" and hold for 3 seconds, LED will be on 2. Press the function button(ex.TV), LED will blink once. 3. Aim the RCU to the device (ex.TV) and press"POWER" button once and release. 4. When it switch off the device, means the code you input is correct, then press"EXIT" and save the code, LED will be off.
Code Display Setup 1. Press "SET" and hold for 3 seconds, LED will be on, release the button. 2. Press the function button (ex. TV), LED will blink once. 3. Press "SET" button again, LED will blink once. 4. Press any numeric button, when you press one number and make the LED blink once, this number should be the first one in the code. 5. Repeat the above 4, take the same way to find the second and third number for this code. When you find the third number, the LED will be off.
1.) TO Timeshift press PAUSE button and give it a few seconds to get ahead of real time then press PLAY when you want to watch. Press INFO button to remove the info bar at bottom. You can also FF and RW in timeshift mode. Both RW and FF have a delay to start working about 2 seconds. To return to Play from FF or RW press PLAY again. To End Timeshifting press STOP then it will return you to live play.
2.) To Record Press RECORD button and you will see a popup window that will ask do you want to RECORD CURRENT CHANNEL? If you answer YES then it will start record with a 2 second delay or if you answer NO it will give you a choice to record another channel on same TP, very nice feature, you can record another channel on same TP and watch the one you are on. All this with one tuner, impressive. When Recording starts you will see info bar at bottom giving name of show and time of recording and size of file as well as playtime. You will notice playtime is about 4 seconds behind. When you want to end recording press STOP.
3.) To Playback press USB button and it will take you to the USB menus were you could find your recording. Scroll down to recording and press OK. If you press INFO button you can see progress bar. Now you have choices on playback. You can FF different speeds 2x, 4x or 8x, RW you also have the same. To stop FF or RW you need to press PLAY if you press FF or RW button again it advances to the next speed.
4.) Sizes of files save on recording is much better than CW100-R. It will record a file as large as 4g and the will start another file. 4g is plenty to record a show or movie or football game. I recorded a football game and it was under 3g.
5.) To delete recordings of any file on USB drive enter the USB menu and Highlight the file you want to delete and press SAT button and it will confirm you really want to delete it. Say YES and it is gone.
6.) Setting timer for recording from EPG is done the same way as in the CW600sp. Find the show you want to record then press the GREEN button and a timer will be setup for you. That is all you need to do.
1. Power STB OFF using the back switch. 2. Connect NULL cable to computer and STB. 3. Open CW800S loader. 3. Turn power back ON (Let the STB boot up completely). 4. Press power button on the front panel to put the STB on "Standby Mode" -- -- -- -- 5. Browse and select the latest bin file and press "Start" NOTE: Do not interrupt the loading process, wait until the front display shows "END". 6. Turn power OFF and ON again, let the STB boot up until it shows 0000 on the display. 7. Factory default the CW (menu > installation > factory default), set the antenna settings, autoscan (red button) . Enable the patch (F1 then press 000).Wait for box to autoroll. 8. Sort channels by "SID" (menu > System Setting > scroll down to channel and change it from "Normal" to "SID" and exit. 9. Turning autoroll ON/OFF if needed for manually keys entry (Menu > System setting > System > OSD > Scroll down to autoroll.
