Hi All TV suddenly died. No picture at all. Got the dreaded blinking green light. Got an authorized repair man to take the circuit board to his shop to diagnose the problem. His explanation was that a leak from the CRT tube onto the circuit board caused the board to short out. He said the board has been discontinued and a replacement part is not available. He then sent the board to a company that rebuilds circuit boards only to be told that the board was too badly damaged and could not be repaired. Now it looks like I have run out of options and a worthless $3000 box in my basement.
Does this all make sense to anyone. Any comments, ideas, recommendations would be appreciated.
Bummer, which board is toast? I just picked up a ws65807 which some meatball robbed the signal board out of and put in one from a 55807 that had a nasty collant leak. All it needed before that was a set of STK's...
