No one really knows how many had their IP's bagged and tagged. The facts I received today was that Dish is sending letters out to who every was using SUNS. At this time we don't know the information in the letters, as soon as we get our hands on one of these letters we will post it for all to see. From our experience, we feel that all SUNS users are going to be in a lot of trouble very soon. At this time I would not use any SUNS period. NOTICE - We have just learned the following: xxxxx has admitted privately that the above is true but is under a gag order plus, this will KILL sales if it ever was made public! All xxxxx's mods are under the same strict DISH gag order and are ordered to DENY and delete any members post exposing this information. Said gag order has NOT been filed with the agreement xxxxx and the mods comply and thus will be safe from prosacution while they collect more IP addresses. |

I turned off the nfusion at night, then when I turned it on in the morning there was a message on the screen of my tv saying "new s/w version upgrade available", then the message went away. Then I went into "menu", "Internet", "s/w Upgrade", then "s/w version check". And It said "new version 1.47.7 available" and it had two options below "update" and "Cancel". I clicked on the "update" and within 3 minutes, it downloaded the new 1.47t file all by itself. It was a miracle. Everytime I tried it before it said "cannot connect with server" but this time it actually worked. No I am running the new 1.47t, and it's working fine. So, I just wanted to know, did anyone else try upgrading to the 1.47t file using the remote?? Maybe they have fixed the server connection problem, and from now on every upgrade can be done through the IKS?? Anyone else know anything else?? |
