King, do you think Theres a strong possibility that the coders will try to crack on *choice Digicipher 2 , once Nagra 3 is out. Do you know if *choice is HD is in Mpeg 2 or Mpeg 4?

Cracking Nag#ra-3 will be irrelevant
Yo'll need different hardware to get D#N
Blu-ray is a liscence from Sony
It will be so pricey to go that way

I thought Star*choice was 8PSK MPEG-4
I noticed they only got 3HD per TP
Notice it's Linear polarity not Circular
But I wouldn't doubt if it's MPEG-2

I'm almost certain it's MPEG-4
But not really sure

If anyone got HD 8PSK
Scan 111W HD see if it loads to yor rcvr
Of course no video screen cuz there is no crack to DC-II yet

If yo got SD receiver
Scan 111W see if it loads HD channels with no video
If it does, then it's MPEG-2 HD

Be aware that there maybe a combination of both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4

I scanned it few times
But I don't remember if it was MPEG-2 or MPEG-4
I thought it was MPEG-4

I scan entire western hemisphere at least once a month with 30 inch winegard dish and a Linear KuL LNB on an HH motor
Nothing jumped at me

I will probably scan it daily if there is a crack
DC-II will be our PTA salvation
There will be PTA failures and triumphs
Yo shouldn't lose sleep about it
Only international PTA is at major risk as DTV will always be untouchable and D#N will turn cold soon
