Hello I need your advice. We recently purchased a Vizio GV42L 42 in. LCD Television. I hooked it up to a new HD Cable box via HDMI and the picture is absolutely perfect. This issue we're having is the screen will momentarily go black for a second then return to the normal picture. This happens about twice each hour, regardless of what channel we're watching. I guess the picture isn't absolutely perfect if it goes black two times an hour. Use component cables instead of HDMI. Your picture will be blackout free and absolutely perfect.
