My lamp wen out and I replaced it, talked to one tech and said it was the lamp ballast (did not replace) then one tech said capsitors bought them but I am not capable of doing this myself. I see all over the internet that people are haveing problem with this tv. I am looking for some experienced advice. I do get a solid red light, the code flashing is 34. Has anyone gone thru this. Really dont want to spend a ton f money if its not worth it thanks
Michele, Did you ever get your TV fixed? What is your status? I have a WD 52525 as well, bought in 2004. The lamp has been replaced 3 times now. Also the fan was replaced only after a month, after we bought the TV. Today, the screen went blue with horizontal lines, the sound is good.We thought that it might be the cable box, but after reading many posts with problem tv's, I now think it is the tv. What was your final experience with your 52525.
