I have a Pansat 2700A Clone. I have scanned the BEV HD channels but I get "scrambled or bad channel". I can get the BEV non HD channels with no problems, but not the HD ones. I can also get the DN channels. I have powerd off the receiver and then back on, but still getting "scrambled or bad channel".
Am I missing something?
My setup: Pansat 2700A Clone TIVO Bin 274 Sharp AQUOS LCD HD TV Sat signal strength is around 85%
Q. Do you need an HD FTA Receiver to get HD channels?
A. YES For BEV, that is all you will need besides your HD TV set. for DN you will also need a 8SPK module or board installed on your HD receiver - about $135-$160 additional cost.
