I have a 18" dish presently pointed to bird 148.Since I am the sole user no lnb is being used for one bird.
My question is for which following one bird can I use this 18 " dish .
61.5
118.7/119
Thanks

If you are pointing to 148, you are getting all the channels you would get from 61.5W.
To point it again is futile. Either you are close to west coast and are scanning 148W or you are nearer the East coast ans scanning 61.5W.
118.7 requires a 33" Dish

61.5

1) If you live far West, Echo 3 and
Rainbow 1 @ 61.5*W may be out of range.
If not, you will be better off with 61.5
with a larger Dish. 61.5 carries more Channels.

2) For 118.7/119
You will need this LNB
DIGIWAVE DGL-1189S
Circular & Linear Combo Dual LNBF
or CB 2008A, either one will do the job. Cost around $20.00

You will not get 61.5 W in Vancouver. Either you settle for 148W on a 18-20" dish and a standard LNB (single or two outputs for two receivers) or install a 33" dish and a CB2008A LNB or similar to scan 118.7W.

With a 90 cm Dish and a clear view
elevate your dish to point 9.5 degrees up from level
in order to park on Echo 3 and Rainbow 1 @ 61.5*W
