Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 2890 Registered: Oct-06 | Jimmy At least I tried Well I guess I can exclude yo now In my best guess I strongly think DN dropping Nagra as a security provider once in for all Charlie is blaming nagra for a breach of security If my theory is correct yo'll see DN wide open for several months If DN indeed dropping nagra the new provider that will take over may not take an effect for several weeks perhaps months After all ECM's come from nagra not DN DN is an end user I also see strong indications BEV is continuing with Nagra if card awap is not on hold and all subscribers receive N3 cards, N2 will drop out To have a proof to my theory Yo'll see temporary ECMs only by BEV until swap is complete |

One of the main reasons.. I like to come this site is the archives.. If you look in the archives you will see a pattern.. dishnetwork plays the calm before the storm over and over.. No ways it will be like the map57 deal but I feels a big MAP change is coming... Far as changing source for encryption.. I doubt it ... NAGRASTAR speakes for it's self on why ... |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 2893 Registered: Oct-06 | No that's not a stupid thang Jimmy finally speaks logic It is possible they are calm at the moment for a new map scheme But I say they had enough of Nagra's lack of security conflict escalated and Nagra stopped supporting after their loss at the trial recently If there is any strange behaviour I find BEV making their weekly ECMs DN completely, completely stopped rolling the dice coinstance, maybe, maybe not I say something on the grill I can smell it I say encryption provider change despite the fact that I don't think it's Nagra's Security for a change I do give extra credit to the coders Coders are hungry to eat, they go for the kill like predator it's a natural thing |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 2895 Registered: Oct-06 | AVR Regarding yor PM In the past DN gets quite when they implement an algorithm change to their service transmissions But my observation usually a lot deeper No doubt DN totally unhappy with Nagra And I'm getting the impression that they already dropped Nagra as security provider I know they can't afford to change all receivers as it will cost in the Billions their only hope is to find a security provider that comes up with a smart card that's more secure Such a short notice I do have timed and dated history about the 2 side by side streams despite the fact I posted it 3 months late it still was much earlier than anyone else I could be wrong But if my theory is correct DN will be wide open for several weeks if not months without an ECM ECMs come from Nagra the security provider And based on my deep observation I think Nagra is already dropped We shall see King T.M.
