The ultra unit has power when the satellite in disconnected. The minute the connection is made the power goes off the unit and the box totally is dead lifeless. Can anyone explain what is going on? Thank you.
bhavini If your box is Viewsat Ultra try it: Dont do a hard reboot and unhook LNB cable All viewsat box Go to Code menu Select Nagra and on Dish 01 06 00 Dish 00 01 00 dish 01 01 00 Delete this 3 provider one by one with F3 on remote "NEW" do same thing with all provider on Bev provider 09 07 00 09 06 00 09 05 00 09 01 00 08 01 00 no need to delete keys load last bin for your box turn autoroll on Keep on Bin and autoroll regenerete keys Resolve problem with lost channel , autoroll, freeze and search signal

bhavini I dont think the LNB is short-circuit but the cables Start to disconnect the LNB and each cable from it one by one, try another cable directly from LNB. You can check with ohm meter each cable too. If all is OK put metal plate on front of LNB and retry, if it OK your problem is software and i may help you.
