Just recently i have purchased a new DVD player Pioneer DV-563AS, problem I am having with it is that when i play ANY movie i get this really high pitch sound like once or twice throughout the movie (sometimes more)...has anyone else experianced the same problem with this model or maybe with any dvd player which could have been caused by other means then the DVD player???
The hook up is rather simple, DVD player is connected via Composite Video cables from dvd to tv (Pioneer 55" Projection), Audio is connected via regular audio cables (analog).

I have this player and have not experience this problem. You may want to exchange your unit.

I have tried to hook it up via my new receiver that i got few days ago but havent received my speakers and I thinik the problem was with either the cables (regular analog audio cables) or the hook up from tv to dvd...once i connected my dvd's digital coaxil audio out to my receiver and watched two movies using headphones i have not heard any high pitch noises at all...I hate to deal with the hassle of trying to return the dvd player as it was ordered online (onecall.com) if its really not the unit that has the problem, sometime this week i should get my speakers and hopefully ill have enought time to hook up all the stuff and see if it really is the dvd player or the previous cables (audio acustics i belive they where)
