Just what the title says, I posted this in the Basic TV section but someone moved it. I purchased a 46" Samsung LCD a few months back and need an amplified antenna to get local HD channels. This unit has a built in HD tuner so I'm not looking for a HD tuner. Anyone has any suggestion What kind and where I can get a nice amplified antenna? Price is no issue, just need something that works good.

it depends... if u live in or near a city that broadcasts local channels, u can get a cheap one or just a regular hd antenna for 10 bucks. I installed 3, 2 are within 20 miles (as a crow flies) from the city that broadcasts the channels that are regular ant's. 1 is around 30 miles and i went with a 30 dollar powered ant. all work great.
walmart for all 3

I live in the city, right now I have bunny ears hooked up to it. Sometimes I get a good signal for some channels but then again I have to play with it to catch others. Its just been a hassle messing with the one i have right now. It worked fine for my 32" Sony, but for some reason its not working that great for the my new LCD.

OK here is something, I live about 50 miles from major TV stations and have largest Antenna that Winegard makes and Winegard PreAmp, and still have hard time to get clean strong signal, digital signal if you dont have enough just cut out, and I dont think the type of antenna makes any difference if you watching HD or not HD signal.
