2 receivers using a diplexer?

hi i have two receivers one is just hooked up and im adding another can i use a diplexer from the disequ switch and spit it going to both receivers or would i have to get another disequ switch? thanks

Any splitting of signal will only give the same channel on both receivers. If you want to view the two tvs separately with separate programming you will have to use a DP34 type of switch unless your LNB is designed for two receivers.

yes my all 3 of my lnb's have 2 outputs for 2 receivers but i just wanna run 1 cable from the roof to 2 receivers in the house do i need to run 2 discq switches or can i run 1 switch going to a diplexer then split that going into 2 receivers?

From what you are telling me you are me you are all set and ready for a second DisEqC switch and a second cable. I do not know of any method of extracting two separate channels from one output of a DiseEqC switch.

diplexer is to combine ANT or Cable TV to One Satellite Signal
Not for 2 Satellites nor 2 receivers

4-input DISEqC Sw is to combine up to 4 Satellites to one receiver
2 Sets of 4-input DISEqC Sw is for 2 receivers
