saado, my friend,i don't know much about these units,so i am not able to help you,but the rule is NEVER to turn receiver off when in the middle of transferring files hopefully,if you stay around help will come. Nalin knows more about these units,if he is around he will help you
If there's no light and power on your Pansat 2500 receiver, then you need to JTAG it. Try buying a JTAG cable from some store and then use the Pansat 2500 JTAG kit to bring your receiver back to life. Below I'm posting a link to the Pansat 2500 JTAG kit, just in case if you need it.
