Samsung's best engineers are interested in meeting people who love TV as much as they do. They want to meet people who have gone to lengths to develop their own creative solutions to TV. If you using your TV and other devices in ways they weren't designed to be used; if you have a home media solution you've built yourself; if you installed your TV in an unusual way; if you have an interesting, unconventional, way of watching TV or if you have substituted TV with some other media experience then we'd like to meet you.

In attempt to get the best of the best, Samsung is running an online contest to recruit 20 "TV rule breakers" for four evening workshops to be held in the Bay Area between March 24-27, 2008. If you're interesting in participating, further information is provided on the website: http://www.rulebreakers2008.com/

The bottom line: We're doing this to understand how to build better products so you don't have to.

What's in it for you?
If you're selected for one of the workshops you'll get to spend an evening with Samsung - face to face, and the chance to win one of four 46" Samsung flat panel TVs. Each participant will be paid $250.

We're running the contest on a first come first served basis so act quickly. The deadline for submissions is midnight on Monday, March 17, 2008 (although we might extend it a couple of days due to the short notice.) We will contact the 20 finalists later in the week to confirm participation in one of the four workshops and to answer any questions you may have.

The recruitment and workshops are being led by ReD Associates - a management consultancy specialized in people-centric business improvement.
