Guys, my ultra box was working fine in the morning but now suddenly the box is behaving very strange. On the LED screen, it is only showing #1 instead of channel number. When i turn off and turn on back from the rear switch, the channel comes and immediately shows #1.
same over here suddenly it is frozen on #7 I tried rebooting but the same nothing is happening , any idea, should we reinstall bin or factory default or what.....
yes its something dishnetwork sent out. mine did the exact same thing. would lock up on a channel and only show one number in the display. i reloaded an older bin and it fixed the display but when i reload the current working file it does the same thing. its dishnetwork for sure

go to radio shack and buy rs232 cable and male to female null modem adapter.will cost about $24 or if you buy on line you can get null modem cable for $5
MY Viewsat at is hitted with it as well.I only see as channel#2. So what every one saying is load latest file with RS232 cable. Is that what it means. Where can I get VIewsat Ultra loader?
turn off your receiver at back, when you turn back on use your remote and channel down to 100 immediately and wait for new bin. receiver won't freeze up on channel 100
