Leo,

DN = Dish Network; one of the cable companies in USA.

BEV = DN's counterpart in Canada.

I am also new here and just learned this couple of days back.

They fight in Leon Guanajuato Mexico, 7 hrs away from Monterrey. Chavez Jr. was too slow he used to offer better fights. The local TV opened the sign around 10:45 local time ( once the fight finished. The local Newspaper did bad comments about the fight.

The new bins are capable of autoroll and therefore you do not need to manually enter the new keys. If you keep the sutoroll on, it performs this function automatically.

Before the convertion to 2700 you were loading DN BINS? if so when you converted to 2700 must continue loading DN BIN( jvvh xxx ) which for the moment is not working. since friday we are waiting for solution. What happen is that the SAT Frequency and attena orientation for DN is different than BEV.

As of now there is no Pansat fix out for DN. All Pansats are working for BEV using older BINs.
There are fixes out for DN and BEV for practically all other receivers except Fortec Ultra which is in the Pansat camp.
Do not bother to download from unknown sites.

Almost all good FTA sites will give you the files for free

Always go to 'home site of your receiver' first.
The sites in BOLD offer direct downloads without registration.

Nalin.. In you post you also mentioned that all Pansats are working for BEV using older BINs. Do you think I can do that too since my Fortec has been converted to Pansat? If Yes, please provide detailed procedure. Thank you in advance.

M. Shah: Sure you can. The current working BIN for BEV only for conversions is either jvvh_249 or Saif 249 or CS-249T_lightning. Some people are unable to use it - you need to do system default to be able to get it.
Or you can use jvvh_235 or jvvh_236 BINs - for BEV only.
You would do well to use a motor on your Dish. I don't know what you are scanning. If you are only scanning 61.5W then you will not win. If you are also watching American channels on 119/110 then you will do well. See my long post here:

Nalin, so if I have Pansat 2500>2700 and the only channels that I used to see are the American DN. I will be able to see TV again if I do SYSTEM DEFAULT and the load the 249 BIN? Please advise if i'm wrong.

Gold Member
Username: Nydas

Post Number: 8090

LEO: BIN 249 works only for BEV - not for DN. To get BEV, your dish must point to BEV at 82/91W. It requires a physical movement of your Dish to be swung towards the BEV satellites either fixed or flexible using a motor.

Hi Dr.Dre
I sincerely am not trying to be rude. I respect all.,and only to give good advise and recieve, but why post a link to a site that has not been updated since Feb 11,
and most links don't work. Sorry, It is little
frustrating when trying to find good and reliable information and I find I am wasting my time.
Please change your links to good ones if you post a link, They will pay off later if good info.
Respectfully,
Kimberly

If it is a modification from original X-87 BL 249 for genuine Pansat 2700a, then it definitely can't work with DN.
It has not yet been approved by the Mods at ftatalk.

On the other hand, I think this file is a modification by an astute programmer, who might have been able to do the modifications from the original - enough to get DN going.

Even when approved, it is for testers only. You should be prepared to jtag, if something goes wrong.
