Hello, Can anyone help me get a update for my receiver> Here's the deal with it--extrememicro was my guy and he dissappeared so I was programing a year ago with "pantect-pansat 2500 receiver" files so I think mine has been converted. I have not programed it since everything changed last summer. I keep putting in keys and we are down to just getting dish 110 locals & very little 119w. So I think I have to convert this thing. Please help

Most likely you are not "converted". When you switch from back, if it comes with "b-7-5" then you are converted othervise you are not.
If you are not converted or already converted, I suggest you download and read the instructions, and decide if you want to convert. It is basically two loads instead of one load.

Thank you, we will give it a go. We are wanting to buy a better receiver, but with all the changes going on we wanted to wait until the dust settles a bit before getting one. Will we have to change the lnb on the dish to get the new 118.8?
Thanks! Kay

Hello, Nalin, can you help? I flashed with the latest bin my converted pansat, it worked for a day, and this afternoon, I had problems rebooting.
The " b-7-5" appear for a while, and diseappear, and so on. What is the problem?

Either the boot is bad or the BIN did not go in.
Just flash again first with
jvvh_208_2500to2700.bin or j27_205_1.bin

and then with one of the 250 versions such as
CS_250T_Lightning_100t_Series_serial.bin or
Saif_Bin_250 (Alienware).bin

Get it from the kit and follow the instructions properly.

Thanks Nalin, I am going to try it.
By the way, what do you think about Pansat 250s ? If you compare it with viewsat ultra.

At present, if you want to remain with the standard technology and hope to get support, then I suggest Sonicview 4000 (about $150-160).
If you want a significant change with different technology, buy a Nfusion (about $220-240)

I got a sonic view sv 4000.
Is the flashing procedure, the same as the pansat? Where do I get the whole kit?
Thank you.
