Why not add another dish and get both dn and bev. I have that setup......and if they don't go down together, when one goes down I still got the other. Like right now.....dn has been down for a few days but I've been enjoying good ppv movies and if I was into it I can watch all 11 of the venus adult channels. And I've been is a situation where bev was down and dn was going strong. It's beneficial to me.
I'm trying to find out if the old second dish that is already installed and just needs to be aimed will work for all channels.
I think the 500 dish with pro lnb can look at two sats at once. I do not think the old sony oval dave dish has the same ability. Is this ability needed to see all bev has to offer?
I did and only see 137 channels & only about 20 english speaking channels and none of the normal TNT, animal planet etc. I though maybe the dish or lnb was not capable of seeing all channels.
Pick up another D!sh 500 and point it at 110,119 Birds and the other D!sh 500 point it at 82,91. When B3v is down D!sh is up and other way around, sometimes both are down. Now DN is down and B3V is up.
summan u ask a simple question.. here is simple answer.. just move your dish to 82 degres west or 91 degrees. like its at 119 degree now so move your dish until it reach 82 degrees... etc.
I have a VS ultra and am trying to switch from dn to bev. I have shut off 119 and 110 sats and turned on 91w. Shut off dn AR and turned on bev AR. scanned 91 and when I go to channels it does not autoroll and the sat says 8/10 0r 7 how do I get it to the right satelite?? it wont switch.
edgar mahe ... you can get both on one receiver but you'll need 2 Lnbs .. one pionting at each satellite.
kevin Kelvinator.. how many lnbs do you have and dishes?.. you can pick up 110/119 ( echo 8/10 and echo 7) with dull lnbs on one dish. to get BEV you'll need a third lnb and a dish aimed at the BEV satellite for nimiq 1 (91) Btw why are you turning off (AR) auto roll? You don't need to.
