you will need a different lnb to receive from 118. there are a lot of q about 118 being asked in the forum.

I did mine with the dn repoint kit cuz my super d, and I ain't sure if the generic will work or not, dn=$100, generic=$20, will need to do minor adjustment to the antenna, and new setting to the box.

The only major problem for Torontoians is the weather.
I did not know you can get 148w in Toronto. Anyway, the same dish and LNB can be used - just swing it to 61.5w - towards New York.
The signal and quality is excellent. AAg is there. Geo is there too. If geo news is another channel then I do not now if it is there.
Madflae is right about switching to 118.7 using a Universal LNB ($20) and a 30-33" Dish. That's why I mentioned the weather. It is easy if you already have a 33" dish pointing to 121 as he had.
It is likely that in a few months they might vacate the 61.5W for HD (all rumours).

Use Blind scan (Power scan). Echo 3 (61.5W) should give a little over 130 channels on 7 horizontal and 6 vertical transponders.
In antenna settings, use LNB freq. 11250 on a standard LNB, unless it is a peculiar LNB.
