246jwh (Pansat 2500a to 2700 conversion) is working fine for DN without any remote issues? Could you please clarify which are working appropriately (in regard to Pansat 2500a to conversion 2700) for DN, and which aren't? Thank you.

Joe,

As of now, none of the JVVH and/or Chancysand bins are working on Dishnetwork. The reason behind this is the new DN ECM. Some Feb.4.2008 files are working on other FTA receivers, such as Viewsats, but they'll go down soon. BellExpressVu is working with Chancysand's Bin 247T and AV Bin 247. Some receivers are out with the latest DN and BEV fixes, such as C00LSATS and CaptiveWorks.

Thanks Av, that is why I was confused, especially with all the cross talk going on in between, so to speak in regard to this.

I wasn't sure if any working fix had come out at all for the 2500 to 2700, or if it was just in regard to Bev. I was having a hard time following.

In addition, I thought it must be record speed that the fix was out, compared to lately.

Fixes for 2500 - 2700 or FLU - 2700 will only come after the fix for the original 2700 comes out. They'll be out by tomorrow ... hopefully

Version 247 by Lothario works good with BEV.
New Pansat 2700 BIN is out - Version 248.
You can expect a DN fix for 2500/FLU - 2700 Conversions pretty soon.

Metallica,

However, no one else appears to be having a problem. But, I guess I can reload again, right?

Which Remote?

According to the jvvh_248 instructions:

"Pansat 2700 remote users still use the Jvvh_PansatRemote_248 bin.

Pansat 2500 / Fortec / Pantec Remote users will have to use the Jvvh_FortecRemote_248 bin."

The CS_248T_lightning is also working fine.

Nalin,

I can't Load 080204P for viewsat. Loader 2 comes up "Error has Occurred"
Is it something I am doing wrong? or is this a bad bin?
Thanks in advance
Joel

newfie : You can read the Instructions and see for yourself.

The full kit is in full_kit_248B.zip or later. Download the kit and unzip in a new jvvh directory. Read the instructions in the Instructions.doc file. Some files can be downloaded separately

Are you sure you are using a null modem cable? It should be pretty easy. Click on tools and on read from stb. You will see it go from 0-100%. Then save.

I am sure there must be a method of saving the channel list onto your USB drive.

Thank you Nalin, They say that there is no way to trnsfer channel list from Viewsat ultra to USB. Use loader 2, connect to tv+computer and run channel master to upload channel list.
