Many satellite compny provide legal connection thru disc intead routing thru cable tv network at dirt cheap. Tata Sky is one of them. There are many players in the business.

Cheers!

If you wanna watch FTA channels only, then buy that Doordarshan satellite television system. You'll get all those free DD channels and few private FTA channels, such as STAR Utsav, Zee Smile, etc. If you wanna watch all the good channels, such as STAR Plus, etc ... then either subscrible to some local cable television or subscrible to DishTV India or TATA Sky satellite television providers and watch over 150 channels for around Rs. 310/month,

There are three satellites providers
in India
Dish TV
Star TV
Tata Sky
I would pre-wire you house same as
you would have done here with TV outlets

I would take all your FTA satellite equipment with you. All above Satellite providers
carry most of the channel that we have here.
There is satellite piracy all over the world.
Iam sure you will find them just like you did here. They use the same equipment as we do
here only the plug on the receiver is different.
I would think you could get an adopter here or there. I do see where they have one satellite
Insat 4B @ 93.5o*E that carries alot FTA channels
Ku-band.
