What do I need to have DN HD programming?

I now I need an HD receiver of course (I know VS and SV have HD boxes) a full HD TV and a module that costs from $150-$200. But, do I need another dish pointed to what satellite? Any help will be appreciated.

How many channels will I be able to get?

Same dish same LNB
Yo'll spend at least $600 total
How much and how long is the risk yo'll have to take?

The over all value of the electronics receiver is less than $200
To me this is the real rip off
With all the spooky hijack going on and the unknown DN upgrade wait few weeks for exact fate of PTA

I would buy an SD VSPRO for less than $200 if I were yo so yo don't get duped
These receivers can be sold for some return value or used for something else helpful

Keep in mind DN will announce replacement receivers and new cards this summer
Yo can take my word to the bank

KingTapeman, Putting aside if the receiver is overpriced. Even if "DN will announce replacement receivers and new cards this summer", don't we have a few months or up to a year to use the HD box if we buy one today? If they announce it in the summer, I would think they will take a few months to switch out the existing boxes, no?

Yep
That's correct
But would yo guarantee how much up time and how much down time?
All I'm doing is to explain the risk

Thanks King.

To what sat do I have to point the dish in order to get HD channels? Are they in 720p or 1080P resolution?
