i got a cw 800pvr, i have it set up for echo 119 and 110, so after the installation is done and everything is ready to go where do i go in the menu so that the receiver search for both 119 and 110 channels?

hey RTAP thanks alot for your help, this is my problem now i hook up my cw to my dtv dish just to see what happend but after i hook it up back to the dish 500 i loss channels and when i rescan the bird i still missing channels.
Luis Baez : People have found that even changing from 600P to 800s, there is often a difficulty with getting all channels or getting both 110 and 119. Similar power supply issues occur using Pansat 3500.
600 is lnb friendly and the 800 is not. The worst part is if all LNBs are CW lnb the same brand as the receivers, you are more than likely to have trouble switching receiver to 800s. The fix for this issue is to change all lnbs to better ones. If the system worked before you bought the 800 and now does not, change the LNBs to a better quality LNB.
I am NOT a CaptiveWorks expert and Bruce 1 is the one you should rely on for more help. RTAP has put out a long post without any mention of Antenna setup for 110/119 and all about the 600 model.

You could play around with LNB type in the menu. You could also try 110 not connected in software and scan 119. Then disconnect 119 in software switch off, switch on and connect 110 in software. Another trick is to set one of the two to port 1 and the other to "none"
If the trouble does not correct itself, leaving the system on 119, than I suggest you switch to something like a Dual LNB Model ZKF-G52N input freq 12.2-12.7 GHZ
what bin is in the box is it 144 i read that the older file was missing ch in it if you have the older bin load the new bin you can get it at crazyfta dot com
I just got cw800 today and I'm beginning to think its a piece of crap, I replaced my cs5k that was working perfect all ch on dn, only because the cw has a pvr function. The cw800 says signal weak and scramble channel, I tried everything, its set up on the same dp500 dish w/ dp lnb, no switch, I got it to recognize 110 and 119, but the quality meter is red dots, but about 80%, strength is grn and 95%. on v144 I don't what its problem is, anyone have any suggestions before I box it back up, and go back to my cs5k.
cb did you inable the patch f1 on the remote then ooo on tv you will see patch inable and on cw boxes you can not get the meatter to go to 100% i do not no why but if i put my bodys box witch is vewsat my bev gos to 100%but on dish my buddy can not get 100% gets about 89%and on my cw i get 70% and i get all ch from bev and dish if you want to read more on your box go to crazyfta dot com
thanks everyone for the info, now, since this is a brand new receiver what is the first thing i need to do, do i have to load those factory bin files first and then the new bin file,what about that dll file? how this work? and do i do all this even before hook it up to the tv?
luis you have to go read about your box there is all king of info for the cw800 at crazyfta dot com go and register for free i got this from there how to set up cw 800 (for bev with no switchs )
Download/Unzip files.Transfer files onto USB stick then plug it into the box. You should see a message that says USB ready. Now press the USB button on remote and then scroll to the right to open Software tab. Look for file and press OK to load it. After it loads it will ask you if you want to reboot say YES. When it reboots then go in menu and do a Factory Default. Then reboot again . When it comes back up now you can setup sats and options and rescan all sats.
after you load new bin do a factory default which will delete all settings then go menu ok Installation Antenna Setting and press OK

After Set Up been done you can scan the satellite by pressing the "RED" button in your (Auto Scan)
After done with that exit out of all menus and with remote press F1 000 to enable the Patch. You should see a message on tv that say PATCH ENABLED. Now wait for keys to roll and watch tv

that was good info but i already know how to use the usb and how to load bin what i need to know is when i take my receiver out of the box what the first thing i need to do, do i connect it to the tv for any setting or i go straight and load the factory bin files then the new bin, i read but im still in the air,lol.
The first thing you need to do is read the User's Manual.
Do a Factory Default Load and Flash latested Bin. Do a Factory Default again. Pull up System Information to see if you have loaded the right Bin File. I guess you know the rest.

Thanks Nalin I'm going to keep it, just took a little getting used to, it works great now. The EPG is better, and changes channels faster than cs5k and i think picture is brighter too.
