Just bought (3days ago) a stereo system consisting of NAD preamp and amp, PSB 6Ts and Subsonic 6i. I love it...as compared to having NO stereo .
I am using my PS2 for cd and DVD playback and I hate it, alot. Problem is, I do not want to get a separate DVD player and a separate CD player. I know that Any DVD/CD player will be a step up from PS2, but how much of a step up? Will it be noticable? I have component video (TV has component in), but No HDTV or any of that fancy stuff.
The preamp, of course has no digital processor, so i'll be doin plain AV cables.
Now, I am very VERY new to SACD and DVDA. If DVDA is the wave of the future, I could see myself getting the NAD T533, but that's a good chunk of change...
what can you guys recommend? say for 300 or so?
I'll research dvd audio and SACD stuff on my own - no need to repeat information of either, as i'm sure there is a ton of info in this forum.
