i powered off my vs ultra while loading dec26 bin, it froze for some reason, now i get 4 dashes across and cannot load factory file, loader just sends and resends but box does not pick it up, any ideas, am using rs232 cable same as for c**lsat bin uploads
I am not sure personall what cable the CS uses but you need a null modem cable. My VS ultra froze exactly the same way upgrading using the USB, but I was able to recover by loading the same dec26 file using the serial port. Load the the file by directing you loader to the file push the PC > STB button then turn on your receiver, it should begin to load. There should have been a cable included with the VSU when you bought it
