That is why we discourage the use of the channel list's. The list could have channels you can not receive also. Its always best to just blind scan each sat you can receive then use channel master to modify the list. I'm also missing a few like Fox news and some others I used to sometimes watch. my program guide is mostly dead also. I read the post 4 times now about saving everything first but I had already did a default and loaded the new bin,did it a few days back...my fault. receiver is a VS Platinum. thx.. |

Post Number: 2550 Registered: Sep-06 | Zulu, Once again the only way a channel list you find on line would be as good as you scanning the sats yourself is if your neighbor posted it and it was made the same day. DN and BEV change channels around all the time so their is a good chance some channels would be missed or not their anymore. Their is also some other issues here I forgot to mention. What if the list has a bunch of mastakes or a virus? What is the deal with some users so into pushing these lists so hard? It takes very little time to make a list by scanning then you have a updated list for your area. Please explain what a user would gain by getting a list made by someone else? |
