I just purchased this tv a few days ago. The previous owner replaced both convergence ic's but couldn't get it to power up so he gave up and bought a new tv. I replaced 2 5a pico fuses, the F9A04 and F9A05, when I got it home and got the tv to work and it has a great picture but now I have no sound. When I put the board back in I made sure that all the plugs were in tight. Is there a sound card or something in these tv's that needs to be checked or could it be a loose connection somewhere else? I plan on pulling the board back out in the morning but I wasn't sure where to start looking. The speakers have a faint static sound comming from them now and when I unplugged the plug from the board they made a little pop noise. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also does anyone have a repair manual for this tv?
