DN Update-DEC. 20 Please read.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starting yesterday, DN started implementing 0106 Provider ID on some of the channels in their basic package section. There was a total of 6 channels that went down. Today they have added more to this number. The current situation indicates that they will continue to chip away at the basic section until it finally goes all black. When this is achieved, then for certain the remaining sections of DN will follow suit quickly.
It is apparent DN is being very cautious with these changes as each time they send out an ECM it must be verified that it has not affected their normal paying subscriber base.
Realistically it is just a matter of time before it goes completely black.
The battle now is going to be TIME. Can Mingo find a solution before we go completely black?
He has a huge challenge ahead of him as this new ECM technology is for certain the most difficult every introduced into the data stream. There are 3 elements that must be contended with...Dynamic coding, mapping and timing.
The biggest problem appears to be the timing.
For the moment, if you are lucky, you may still get your unit to autoroll on key changes in what is left on 0101. If autoroll doesn't work, then inputting new keys should do the trick. Don't be disgruntled about your Arizas as every other manufacturers receivers are experiencing the same issues.
BEV is completely black and there is no point in asking about this at all.
So please don't start posting questions about these problems as there can be no further answers than have been explained in this posting.
