Whatever you do DONT get the VS Pro. I am happy with plat and a plat lite. Yes it`s true we dont know how long they will provide bins for. The Lite is still for sale and is best price in my favorite store.
I am sure the others will probably tell you to avoid the plat Lite??
I'de recommend highly you buy a cardless reciever!! The 3500 has a card slot but its replica the 2800a has none but the cheap ba$tard$ took away the universal remote!!!
I would go for the VS Ultra over 3500 and 2800 and pro and lite....Ultra is the best receiver out there right now...easy to use and install bins without wires not just that but the support will be there for that receiver!
at this point any receiver is trash cuz no matter what receiver u buy u still have to wait for the bin . it works couple days and then down .
what you should think of is buying something that is reliable . there is nothing reliable at this moment. only nfusion cuz they use iks . connected through the internet . it update itself cuz u download directly from the provider database. poeple think it's more than proof that they are stealing the program ,cuz they know ur ip adress. if there is no law against it , then that's what you need to buy.
all i know is not legal to to do it but i may be wrong. and sada i guess u need to download the bin . it updated only the keys . tha's what i read. i will make sure and get back to you .
