I have a viewsat extreme. I just installed a dish for echostar 7, when I set the tp freq to 12224 it doesn't show any signal, when I set to 12239, it has 78%, but when I exit it change back to 12224. I did a auto scan it has 210 channels came down. It missed all the chinese channels I want. anybody can help.
1) Don't worry about any TP not showing quality because all TPs do not carry something.
2) A blind scan should get you all that's available on that Satellite anyway. Since you're getting a problem doing a blind scan, do a Default Setting to wipe out all channels and reset your satellite list and try again.
3) I thought the Chinese channels were all on Echo 3 (61.5) or the 118?
