1) Channel Master is not something you load onto your receiver. You load a channel list onto your receiver using the Channel Master as the tool.

2) Did the channel list open ok on your computer? Could you see all the channels listed in there?

3) If this computer and cable has never given you problems loading bins, recheck your connections, reboot your computer and try again.

lol ... you don't load channel master onto your FTA unit ... you load the channel list .... channel master is just like a loader ... just like a Blacklist loader is for bins .... channel master is the loader for channel lists

If you've never used this cable before, how do you know you have the right cable?

Okay, but is it the NULL or the STRAIGHT cable? You need the STRAIGHT cable.

That's fine but the null cable looks EXACTLY like the serial cable - rs232 -female both ends. I'm not saying you have the wrong cable but there's no way to be sure you have the correct cable. It's not possible to tell by looking at it unless you can locate some fine print somewhere on it.

If she used the same cable to put a file into the receiver before than its the correct cable.

Does the loader program she uses for updating have an option to receive files from the receiver to the commuter? if so that would be the way to get the file to the computer.
