I did download the new sat file from totalfta, deleted all channels, readjust all the sat parameters. i could get 148, 119, 110, but have trouble getting 118.7W Anik F3. I found those channels from orginal 800 range are moved to 4000 range with the new satfile.

I go to those range. still no luck. it keep saying autoroll .... but never comes back. However, i could see unencrypted channel on 118.8 which says you are now correctly positioned to 118.8.

I have dish pro plus 500 equipment, with eye type lnbs.

I set 148 to standard, 119 and 110 to ocs-dp and 118.8 i tried using all (standard, universal and ocs-dp), no luck. I am using viewsat ultra.

Please help.

If you have dish 500 plus, then you have 110, 118 and 119. One on each port. Once you use universal with the frequency between 9750-10750, with the right port number, you should get all the 118 channels. I think you are scaning using the wrong port or the right port with wrong frequency. If you are sure about the 110/119 ports, use other port to scan 118. Good luck.

you only have three LNBs, right? so you can only have 3 sats. What do you mean by four sats?

1-LNB for 118/119
3 LNBs for total 4 sats

Yo need:
- Universal Circular LNB or Quad polarity LNB
- Need at least a 28" dish
- Set LNB internal freq to 10600
- Blind Scan 119 and will get yo both 118/119
- Regular circular will not work on 118
- Regular linear LNB may not work 100%
- 24" dish will not work

so you have two dishes? King knows better and if he is suggesting u to use 10600 then you should use the circular and type in the 10600 for frequency. I think in viewsat you can do that. When i use the circular2 (9750 - 10750) i was able to get all those channels.

I have Dishpro dualband LNBF FSS/DBS Dual band LNBF (one that looks like an eye type) for 118.8 and 119 and another one DP Dual band LNBF for 110 and another one DP Dual band LNBF for 148.

Now how they will map to viewsat world?

Sit Sat"
Regular circular or regular linear will only get yo few transponders off 118
I'm curious to know what LNBF yo are using?

Rati Kaur
In terms of VU-Sat freq response settings:
Circular= Universal or OSD-dp= 12.2GHz to 12.75GHz
Linear= Standard Ku= 11.7 Ghz to 12.2Ghz
Universal= 11.7GHz to 12.75 GHZ in North America
Universal= 10.7GHz to 12.75 GHz in Europe

Internal Oscilator is usually 1 or 2 GHz less than actual freq on lyngsat
VS and many other receivers yo can either select LNB freq or dial any desired frequency

118 is a new type called FSS
It requires Universal Circular LNB about $40
Or Quad Polarity Invacom
Dish must be at least 28"

Sales fodder!! All DBS LNBs are compatible! No need for a special lnb! JUST set to standard local freq @10750 or 10600 and your legacy will work$$$$$$$$$$$$ I'de use 9/13 @10750 and get everything possible! It just wont say 118.8 but there is no channel guide for that yet so who cares what it says as long as you get all the transponders??

I have mine working with a 24" dish but this is what I did, I have a VS Ultra

This is what worked for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of you that are using the Special LNB for 118.7

Setup for Echo 9 -121W
LNB Type: Standard
LNB Freq: 10750
****
TP Freq: 11715

Now you will not see TP freq: 11715 so do this.

Go to Menu, Channel Scan
Select EchoStar 9
SCroll down to Edit TP> OK
Press F1 for Add User TP
Enter:
TP freQ: 11715...S/R: 20000...Pol: V...FEC: 7/8

Exit and Save

Now back to Auto Scan
Echo 9 should be selected, Scrool down and start Scan.

C/P
International channels 668 JSTV and 675 TV Japan were moved to tp 13 at 121° showing a slate telling the subscriber that this channel will no longer be available at 121° Call Dish for new equipment and installation to receive at 118°. TV Japan is now mirrored on channel 5726 tp 5 at 121° until the transition is completed. JSTV subscribers are out of luck. Channels 5722 ZGUJ and 5724 KBS were removed from 121°. The "move" to 118° is complete on these channels.

Dish Network Channels at 118.75°
