2500 > 2700 Conversion requires setup after every update?

Before converting from a clone 2500 to 2700, I was able to update it with CS bin and I would still have my user, antenna, and channel settings. It made sense when I did the conversion that I would loose that info, but why do I lose it every time I update with a new bin? My VSX also retains my settings after a bin update. Thanks.

yes for some odd reason now you need to rewrite channel list after applying new bin. wasnt that before

use channel master and load the channel after updating the list....works well...saves all the setting/fav list etc.

After you load any new bin, just simply load the Black Tyger Channel List for dish 119, 110, and 61.5

was given the clone 2500 by my father in law a year ago, so I got no complaints about what it's done for me, i do have a VSX that i got a month ago, its pretty sweet, but the bins for both have been release at pretty much the same time, the support for the 2500 has been pretty good over the last few ecm's in particular, i say keep it up

support better than some newer recvr. considering all the versions it has the most support of any recvr. no other recvr has 4 authors for their bins

its only because so many were sold early on

it will last for a while

@ THE FTA TESTER

I just bougth a VSX last month, now i find out it's discontinued, and you are recommending a VS lite, are they still making them? I hope the support for the VSX stays for a while, but using the 2500 as an example, people will keep it up an going im sure.
