Folks, Here is what I think. Uptill couple of months back , Viewsat was first one who used to come out with first files. Then Pansat came first then sonic view came then again some body else came. Now again Pansat is leading, followed by Sonic View and Viewsat is no where in picture. I think they all are one manfacturer who is playing game under different product. So that way people keep buying there products and they keep earning...
I think they are all the same... DN and DIR, they have different company names, so when they take away your satellite TV and you are hooked on their programing. Some go running to call DN or DIR anyway.
Reach, The speed of the release of the program used to steal DN programing made by 3rd party coders has nothing to do with marketing of the receivers from the manufacturers. This is not a race to see what "coder group" will release first. I would rather see them fully test and debug the .bins's before I install them into my receivers and have all the trouble we see each time a bin is released too early.
Who cares which company is first? As The FTA Tester put it: It's like NASCAR. The bottom line is that we are all working toward the same goal, and when someone comes out with the solution first, we all win!
