Need help on 148 Ehco 1/2

I cannot poit to 61.5 or 119. my location alowwed me only 148 echo 1/2, where the channels what I want located accourding lingsat. I can get the signal from that satellite, but not all channeal, all international are missing. I have 18" dish, standard LNB and Fortec LTU converted to pnasat 2700 Please help |

Gold Member Username: Dude123Post Number: 1409 Registered: Jul-06 | well right now there is an ECM so you won't get any internation, ppv or adult channels. Are you atleast getting scrambled or you don't see any of the international channels in your list? |

We have been seeing that alot here. easiest way to fix is to go get a new sat file and put in your receiver then just simple adjust antenna settings as needed for your set up and rescan the sat's. If you'll let me know what your receiver is I can point you to a updated sat file with all the latest transponders..  |

Post Number: 1622 Registered: Sep-06 | With these new bin's we have seen lots of data getting lost in settings, and transponders being deleted. I would say its eather of those two. Look carefully at antenna settings and be sure its all the way it was before. If you was getting those channels before then the act of updating your receiver could in no way move your antenna so if everything else is the same it should still work. I always make a note of all settings for each sat, upload my channel list and sat file off the rec then put the new bin in and sat file and channel list so it is still the same. I started doing that after mine lost data.. |

Gold Member Username: NydasPost Number: 5774 Registered: Jun-06 | Lampar: YOU cannot get both 61.5W and 119w on the same dish. You cannot get 148w in Montreal. If you have a big dish, sometimes even with the circular LNB for 119 you can get weak signals of anik on 118.7 Having said that, it seems you have a big dish, so why don't you spend $20-$25, and get yourself properly set? YOU have had enough advice on this thread. Again, you cannot get 61.5W and 119W on the same dish. |
