I am planning to buy a fta receiver; what's the best receiver I can get around for $150

I just Got a new buzz box at GetDss.com its an auction site.... but they had a cool*sat for $79.... now is a good time to buy if you have faith that all will be well. Good deals

Everone has their favorite it is alot like the chevy-ford-dodge argument. I myself have tested a coulsat, viewsat, and a pansat. You can find all the diferant Brands are about the same price.

I like the viewsat's better based on one feature they have that I have not found in any other receiver. The Viewsat's will Identify the Satellite the antenna is actually pointed at saving alot of time during install and every day use.

As far as antenna set up the best set up for FTA is a 31" dish, Motor, and proper lnb for DBS ( dn-bev ) and true FTA ( QTH-031 the best LNB ).....and your receiver

Their are 31 sat's out their with programing on them with over 2500 channels you can get with a clear sky and that set up......

Cost is around $150 and set up is very easy most times easer than all the switching required with using 2 dishes to just get a few DN or BEV sat's that MAY or MaY NOT have channels working at the time.

Cooolsat and NFusion also identify sat. Most all newer box do.

TFT cw600p will also do the same thing i do not no how it works but it does and is very useful for moving the dish co viewsat is not the only box with that feture

Thats cool I am glad some other box's other than Viewsat ID's the sats now. I expected others did you just never hear about it..

i expect the 9000hd does? lol
i know the sv, cw, vs, does, I thought the 3500 did, just figured the higher ends would have this.
