b-75 and bin 225 are not for the 3500.

make sure the 3500 has b-80 and bin 342

For Pansat 3500 it is not b75 boot.
You have to install Boot b80, and then install the latest BIN version 342.

You will have difficulty in getting into any site except for downloading version 342. It is not to be installed till you have B80 BOOT.
Always obtain instructions from the site where you download.

New member.

I have a Pansat receiver 3500S (b-80) with SD memory card. Satellite signals from Echo 6,8@ 110 and Echo 7@ 119.

Problem: PPV (500's) and HBO types (300's) channels are blank (no signal).

In the past when these events occurred, I carried only the SD memory card to a friend (recently deceased) for an updated BIN.

I'd like to be able to update the BIN myself.

Question:
Cable connecting computer to receiver -
Where can I buy and what specific cable do I request?
e.g., RS232 Null Modem Cable (#2,3 switched)

Downloaded today:
bin: X-05BL_071109_336T_api_NOCARD.zip

loader: GTRom Loader v3[1].36

Win rar program:

With your suggested cable in hand, I will again contact for further instructions.

Thanks for assistance.

You don't need the cable to upload the new bin. Use your SD card. Download the newest bin from Future-fta.info to Your pc , unzip it and load to the SD card and upload to the receiver.

Erm, I just uploaded 342 to my receiver, and it does not work for me.

Anyone know what else I might have to do? :\

It's weird, because my old bin (440) was working till this afternoon, and then it went away. Then I got 442, which hasn't work since I uploaded it like an hour ago, lol.

So new fix huh? Is that confirmed? The 442 bin is not working anymore?

me ta wrote: You don't need the cable... load to the SD card and upload to the receiver.

I have no experience. Per thread will wait for new bin. However for practice, I downloaded per your instructions @ future-fta...3500s/download/12.04.07 - opened w WinRar.Zip/file/select all/Extract to/saved bin file (468,448) [x-05bl_071204_342_api_nocard.zip - ZIP archive, unpacked size 917,504 bytes] to my computer.

me ta, good so far?

Question: How do I load to the SD card from my computer? Is there a SD card slot on computers? Thanks for your help.

RTAP, Hello what is up? Hey and to all this dish thing is driving me crazy. I am about to eat a bullet. As you know i bought a 3500SD, with the 31' dish, and the switchs. I am getting nothing. I always get level at 70 to 82%, but no quality.Moving the dish today i did get some quality for about 1.324 seconds and then gone. it happen a couple of times where the quality would come in but it was gone quick. WHAT I"M DOING WRONG? the signal can not be that unstable. thanks

the signal as i said before is JUST the connection between the reciever and the lnb. It does take patience to get it lined up. I would point it at the correct azimuth, then the right elevation and skew, leave all bolts just loose enought o move up/down/ side to side... but not loose enough to fall by itself. Move it slowly while someone watches the signal strength on the tv. U can do it. Unfortunately, U are the one that has to do it... we cant really help that much more... u have all the info u need. U just have to move it till u get signal. Make sure the ant settings are:
dish pro lnb type
disecq 1=119
disecq 2=110
leave it on echo 8 (110) while aligning it.
