which program do you use to upload channel list to you receiver(converted fortec) and viewsat. Also can any list be uploaded or every reciver have different list..thanks for you information.plz explain the procedure to dowload channel list to receiver..thanks
i found these instructions reading other posts....does it sound right to u??
Use channel master program, pull down TOOL menu select Read from STB, select stb model: if your stb already converted to 2700 select 2700, otherwise 2500 (before conversion). When finish leave it run in back ground, start loading new bin to your stb when finish (stb display 'On' after final boot) goback to channel master select Write to STB on pulldown TOOL menu ... select 2700 ... write back to your stb when finish your receiver reboot itself then final display some channel number after 'On' on display. This will save you alot of time setting up the receiver every time load new bin to it. ... enjoy ...
