The "larger" brands are actually writing fixes to deal with this. Example. My Conaxsat trio never went down on the Thanksgiving ECM and did not go down on this ECM. That is because it took 3 days to get a bin up and running with the fix for this mapcall. Hope this helps!! |

It is a very complicated box, but once you learn how to use it, you'll never go to any other box AGAIN! Check out: w w w . d b f n . t v w w w . d s s r o o k i e . c o m The first site is located overseas, so they talk a lot about encryption that is used over there, but they do have a North America section. Either way, it is a great site with great mods and members who will help you out. The second site is based in North America, and they cover every receiver, but they have a real good section on the dreambox. BTW, the most common model of Dreambox that they sell here is the DB500 (cheapest model) the retailers don't carry the DB7020 or DB 7025 because there is not that much demand for them and they are quite expensive. IMO, the DB500 is a great model for a beginner in the dreambox world. Pretty easy to program, and most people buy this one due to price. Hope this helps |

I just checked their site, and they only show the DB500, but if you call them, they'll get you one. Also try sattoys . com If you're in IT, then you won't have problems with it. Just make sure that you connect it to a wireless router via ethernet so that you can update wirelessly from your laptop. YOU"LL THANK ME FOR IT! |

They are starting to use the full potential of REV 10C. This is the use of running dynamic code to decrypt the Control Words. Most Manufactures have released but are seeing freezing on the PPV, Internationals and Movie channels. The good news is we get Video. It will take some time for the coders to get it right but this is a good step in knowing it can be beat. |
