Viewsat Extreme- Unable to upload the Bin File

New member Username: ArmanifashionPost Number: 2 Registered: Nov-07 | Unable to upload the PGM file in Viewsat extreme. Getting Error message: Sending ZRKQINIT. Frame Type: 255: ELAB 54 80 Resending ZRKQINIT. Message keeps on looping. Need Help? Tried on different PC's still same issue, Also tried different Cables. |

Platinum Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 13595 Registered: Jan-06 | Thats a communication problem between reciver and PC...try another comport setting and recheck connectioins..make sure U have the correct cable to...and if using a USB adapter, thats your problem.. |

New member Username: FreeladPost Number: 1 Registered: Nov-07 | Hi, I am having the same issue. The only difference is that the "Frame Type" message is different. Mine is: Frame Type 255: 11 00 00 00... 1) The receiver is OFF when I click the download button, and then I turn the receiver ON. I also tried clicking the download button while the receiver is ON, but I had the same issue. 2) I also tried two different PCs and had the same issue. I am using the correct cable because I have downloaded files before using the same cable. I am not using USB adapter. Your help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

As LK said check your comport, also leave receiver on but disconect power from wall when you open the file then hit PC>STB then connect power from wall, downloading starts and after it is done wait for receiver to restart also wait for the 0000 Display to become 0001 then your done. |
