Hi,guys I am new and i need to know what kind of cable i need to download as i did not get one with my c00lsat 7000 which worked for 2 days before this grand fiesco.also is there a cable that i can buy localy? thanks for any help

yeha u can get it at radio shack its rs232 cable regular cable

I found that most radio shacks here sell a straight thru cable and a null modem adaptor/gender bender, but not a null modem cable. Maybe they do elsewhere...

really is it really thnxs..anyways i didnt blow receiver it became successful...now i have another reciever and im waiting for jvvh bin so i can start to convert why is it taking sooo long?

because it is a crap reciever. they dont care soo much about the old recievers. but, they still work. they want people to buy a new one

still at radio shack. call and ask for a null modem cable. they will have the cable OR a regular rs232 cable with a null modem adaptor
