Best Receiver to buy

I have Sonicview 4000. I like it very much. But Now I am thinking to buy another receiver and getting confuse, like which one to buy now? I am looking for receiver that have USB support, PVR/DVR support and works better than SV4000. And price under $200.00.

Seniors please give me your opinion. Thank you.

but for $249, u can get the Viewsat 7000 PVR...

vs ultra or the sonic view 4000 is a little cheeper @150

I already have sonicview 4000 and i think SV 4000 is better than or very much similar to VS ultra. Anything else you know then please let me know. Thank you for reply.

I wouldn't even consider many others, especially a pancrap!...except a coo*lsat, but I think their warranty issue now is very shaky!...the CNX (conexsat) is a VERY good machine, though too.....

Anybody looking for "best receiver to buy" would look at this thread and see what all the pundits have to say.
All you could do was to put out a lot of technical stuff which nobody is bothered about.

Almost always there are several other posters and always there are several people reading without posting.

I would recommend Viewsat Pro. It is $199. Has DVR & USB drive support and of course the excellent support of Viewsat.

if you want a box for under 200 you can get cw600p and get the pvr100 add on with the usb you can load bins to the cw600p threw the pvr and you can get package deal for 180 or so
