Hi: First let me tell you this is the best BBS I have seen thus far (My thanks to moderators) I am in the market for a DVD (progressive scan) I was interested in SONY's DVP755v but I have seen mixed reviews on it. I am totally lost in the variety out there. Please help

Bravo D1 or Samsung HD 931 if you have a DVI input on your TV.

My choice would be the Pioneer Elite DV-45A. It is a universal player[dvd.cd.sacd,dvd audio]and can be had mail order for under $400. Very good picture and audio quality for the money. Great remote also. Good luck.
