At least once per movie (many different movies) a subtitle will appear. This will happen once mabe twice and never happen again for the rest of the movie. If I replay the movie it wo'nt happen in the same place. Has anyone had this problem with a player? I have tried setting the dvd menu to no captions but this still happens. Very weird. Denon DVD-900

This problem is very well known already. In fact I have a DVD-900 with the same problem. Denon has already put out a firmware upgrade cd to fix this problem. Unfortunately, it is not something you can do on your own, the cd is intended for authorized repair centers only. As long as your player is still under warranty, just take it to the closest authorized repair center to you along with your receipt and they will fix it for free.
