| I am aware that I cannot connect my DVD player directly to my VCR to record because of the DVD copy protection signal. If I connect the DVD player to my AV1 input and the AV ouput to the VCR will the copy protection still be in the output signal to the VCR? |

Paul | Not sure, but certain DVD players can have the macrovision disabled, my Apex 660 is one such player. Do a search on google to see if yours can too. |

Derek | Connecting the DVD player to and AV input does not remove capy protection. You either need to disable Macronovision or by a speacial video stableizer. |
