Recording from a DVD to VCR

I am aware that I cannot connect my DVD player directly to my VCR to record because of the DVD copy protection signal.

If I connect the DVD player to my AV1 input and the AV ouput to the VCR will the copy protection still be in the output signal to the VCR?

Paul
Not sure, but certain DVD players can have the macrovision disabled, my Apex 660 is one such player. Do a search on google to see if yours can too.

Connecting the DVD player to and AV input does not remove capy protection. You either need to disable Macronovision or by a speacial video stableizer.

Yes right. You can use this one for example

It seams to be cheapest I could find in the wed.
I alos got good references about it.

Hello Paul!
I have PHILIPS DVDR-980. Can I use this DVD Red Pro device to copy movies from VHS to DVD? Have you paid for it through PayPal? And if my country is not in list in PayPal?
Thanks in advice.
