reason i am asking this is because all of a sudden i am getting vertical but not horz. on the sats. it was working fine here just a while ago and i know my LNB is still ok. so either my dish went out of alignment (which i hope it didnt) or something else is wrong. which i'm hoping is just bin file

You can check cables and switch, but first I would check you have the LNB type set correctly in antenna setup menu(s). Legacy = standard, DishPro = OCS-DP.

Start with a rear reboot...then cable/connections recheck...then recheck antenna settings...then replace switch...then if no improvement, start with factory defualt, factory bin, recheck all settings and cables again, and upload latest bin, lets keys roll, and do a reboot...

But I think U will find its either the cables,/connections or the switch , and possibly a dish realignment...usually its the simplest of things...try the process of elimination routine like I mentioned above.....good luck
