Changing my PANSAT 2500A

I heard that Viewsat and Koolsat (K=C) are better products. My question is, if I change the PANSAT to VIEWSAT or someting else, Do I have to change DISEqC switch also which is installed with PANSAT or I can keep the same Switch with the new different box?
