NEED HELP BAD FOR USB CABLE

HAVE A USB CABLE THAT I USED WITH AN ADOPTOR
BUT WHEN I PUT THE RECIVER ON WITH THE LOADER
AND CHANGE THE COM PORT TO COM 3 , ITS SAYS PLEASE TURN THE RECIVER ON , WHEN ITS ALREADY ON
I NEED YOUR HELP SO BAD , THANKS

*adapters* wont/don't work usually. Buy another cable...they are really cheap...prob around 5-10 bux the most
and
u r looking for a rs-232 cable

A USB to serial converter gives you the equivalent of a straight RS 232 cable. Some receivers need a Null modem cable. If things do not work, it is best to go out and buy a null adaptor and attach in series. That way if you started with a straight RS232 you will end up with a Null, and if you started with a Null set up you will end up with a straight RS232.

very important with the serial to usb adaptor is to have the driver installed.

you have to go into device manager and see if it is in there and what port it is in . done that been there
